Here are some Brass Sill Plates and Mouldings that I made for a 1934 Minerva AL that is going to Pebble Beach this year.

These Sill Plates are made from .050 Cartrage Brass and are soldered together with Stay Brite high silver Solder.
A card board pattern was made to fit the door jam area and then transfered to the Sheet Brass. The brass was then tack soldered together and slowley fit to the door jam.

The Brass Door Sill Plate faces were made first, then the wedge and box close outs were shaped and soldered into place using a High Nickel Stay Brite Solder.I used a 1200 Watt electric soldering iron along with Stay Brite Liquid Flux thru out the entire Brass Sill Plate fabrication.
